In the year 1992, the regional government of Upper Austria issued the federal law to compost organic waste as well as grass and tree cuts. After the creation of the federal framework, Mr. Gerner decided in 1994 to start with the production of EDAPHOS® on a greater base. A production area, a warehouse and several special machines for his new tasks were developed, constructed and bought.

Starting in his childhood, Mr. Gerner had always a special interest in his natural environment. At this the focus was on the condition of agricultural usable surface as well as the general growth of plants under different preconditions. Doing a kind of “self - study” and through the daily contact with the matter Mr. Gerner was able to develop and get the registration for his product EDAPHOS®. These facts and the verified success of the product in different areas like agriculture, gardening industry, forestry and the leisure economy build the fundament of the company.
