The presence of soil micro organism is the most important factor regarding soil fertility and plant growth.

 

Natural defensive force of every plant against plant diseases (e.g. fungal infection) is strengthened through good soil life (ANTAGONISM)!

 

The extraordinary performance of EDAPHOS® micro organisms consists in the creation of humus conditions and the placement of nutrients to the plant. Another important job of micro organism is the soil cultivation (to aerate). With this the change of physical conditions of the soil that is activated by the work of micro bacteria (e.g. biologic drainage of the soil) is meant. Due to this the supply of the upper soil structure with a net of fine channels and fine openings is given.

 

EDAPHOS® brings forward the microbial activity in the soil (reduction of lawn felt, creation of enzyme and antibiotics, boost of "Mykorrhiza" fungi, etc).

Together with Quarzsand GmbH we developed a product particularly for the construction of golf courts, sport facilities (soccer fields) and leisure facilities like e.g. parks. The name of the product is „QUALITYMIX® EDAPHOS®". In 2002 this product was chosen by the jury of an Austrian competition called "Intelligent use of renewable recourses" to get the first price.

Is the micro biologic work not (young sand – peat lawn underground) or not enough (young sand – compost lawn underground) done you automatically support the origin of lawn diseases. Utmost importance has the so called barrier effect of a diverse soil life compared to the exceeding multiplication of germs and animal vermin (COMPETITION).
