Both as well as slopes as alpine meadows are seasonally set out strong burdens. Independent of the snow situation many slopes are “damaged”. During the winter months thousands of skiers hurt the sward, increase erosion and compact the soil. More over sometimes after the snow has melt you see the damage done to the slope through heavy snow cats.
In the short alpine summer months meadows are set out grazing cattle and other animals that contribute to a compaction of the underground. Over – fertilization is another topic because in the short period of time restricted soil life doesn’t find enough time to process all organic rests from the animals. Using EDAPHOS® in these extreme altitudes is also a good solution for the creation of a better soil structure and healthier environment.
